Simplified Chinese words maybe easier for the foreigners to learn, but as a Traditional Chinese advocator (I am born and raise in Hong Kong, so I learnt Traditional Chinese words and Cantonese only), I will never use the Simplified Chinese words, as it's totally ruined the structure and philosophy on how people creating Chinese words in the past 5000 years.
It's no offense and I respect everyone pick up the Simplified Chinese words, but you will find how amazing the Traditional Chinese words are when compared to the Simplified one.
