So in this post I will tell you about a new student who won 1st place in like a poetry competition, and the new look of my school.
Well I just found out today that while I was away in Phnom Penh, my school picked 2 students to participate in like a poetry or something like that. A new boy in 8th grade and one of my classmates got pick to participate. I think Hong (the new student in 8th grade) won first place which is kinda rare for my school, and my classmate got 5th place. I think on the 17th Hong will have to go to the province to participate another round. If he wins then he could go and participate in Phnom Penh so it is kinda a big deal for my school.
Well my class is half painted because of him, since they need all the money they can to send him and a teacher to the province. I mean they are rich and all of them got a business or big farms but none of them wanted to pay some extra money to actually finish my class. At the same time my school has someone who is good enough for win 1st place and maybe some people saw and decide to help. Although this is my last year at my school but it is the first school that I start from the 1st day 1st year, and hope till the last day and last year.
So yeah my school is now almost covered in new paint and the colors that the principal chose is pretty interesting. I don't know why he thought the eggshell color and green looks good but he chose it and maybe it is because it is the cheapest color. I don't really know but it does not look good and not just me but most students agree. I mean the color looks worst than the old ones. The old ones are also eggshell color but with like maroon, but it looks good.
Also some students even suggested that the teacher should've pick pink instead, but who the hell wants their school to look like a building from Barbie. I mean I would prefer white with a yellowish color but it is not the students' decision to make so yeah. Also we spent like 2 days to polishing and painting the school, I mean some of my classmates including Ah Hak got a free meal since they stayed at school in the afternoon and help. They didn't really help but kinda make it worse and kinda wasting a lot of stuff, but then again they got no experiences at all. It is surprising they actually did it kinda good enough. I did help paint and handing over free drinks, I did help.

Ria will love the color to be that way my dear @srey-yuu. It's been a while. I can see the that your doing fine in school you and your classmate made a great bonding with that.
I think school age is the most fun and have the most friends.. I remember when I was a student and a pioneer, so at the age of 15, I often had to help the school, whether it was helping to cook or helping to close and open the school. And I think painting the classroom is not so bad. I wish you and your friends a good day and gain a lot of experience during school time..
