I don't think there's anything wrong for someone to undergo plastic surgery if it boosts their self-esteem and makes them happy. However, if they do it because of the pressure of beauty standards, then it's not good.
There was a video of a kid from Japan who got double eyelid surgery because her mom told her that it's pretty and people would like her more. It was heartbreaking to watch. 😭

It won't bother me if they do it or not, but like you said if they feel like they have to get it because of the standards then that is not right. It is so wrong of the parents who force their kids to have surgery or change their looks, it is up to the kids to decide if they want to have it or not. I do agree with you everyone is pretty. That's right... but better have it when they're adults (if they still want to at that time)... Kids' facial features still change as they grow, so they might regret it. ^^

I heard that there is a thing in China where you take like a bone from some parts of your body, and attach it to your legs and arm to make you taller and skinnier.
The procedure to make you just a little bit taller is very expensive, very painful, and then after it is done they have to re-teach you how to walk. They break your bones, make them a little bit longer with titanium, stretch your skin to accommodate the increased height, and then you spend a year recovering from it. This just sounds horrible to me and I would rather be short.
I could not imagine learning to walk again, I don't want to experience being a baby again. It hurts really bad when I have a cut so I cannot imagine the pain of broken bone. To me I love my short height although it is hard to reach tall places.
Korea is the plastic surgery capitol of the world. I know quite a few Koreans and all of them have had some sort of beauty procedure done. I think it is just fine if you have enough money but many times it creates an impossible beauty standard that nobody actually looks like naturally.
They did mention that in the video. I don't think I know any Koreans but I know some people who has some work done. I think everyone is pretty just one more than the other, and some people look like barbie dolls which is really creepy. Have a nice day.
