Hello to you all! I still have so many pictures from countryside in my momโs hometown. My mom is died five years ago but I have a lot of relationa living there. When I visited there, I see them have the life different from my family or different from the people in the city.
They do not spend a lot of money to buy everything. The people are farming and every house is growing vegetables for eating and selling to make enough life.
My aunt has three children and two daughters, she is a third year student and another in the first year in high school. She needs to spend a lot of money so in addition to farming she grows cucumbers and long beans. That crops are quick to harvest and can be picked every day.
She picked them in the evening and took it to sell in the market 4:00 am.

These fish my brother and my nephew catches them from the canal.
Any dead fish, my sister makes it and washes it and mixed it with salt and little sugar for fry or grilled.
For fresh fish, she grilled them for eat with sauce and pickle.
These crabs are also catch from canal. My sister washed them and made pickle crabs.
These are my cousins, my sister, my brother and my sister in law.
This canal water is available in all seasons, if it dries up a little, it will drain more water from the Tonle Sap River. People use it for rice, vegetables and other crops. People who have land near the canal can grow rice three times a year.
People in almost every house raise chickens and ducks for cooking sometimes. They do not have to spend a lot of money to buy fish or meat from the market. But they also have to spend money to buy beef or pork and some vegetables that they sometimes do not have.
When harvesting rice by hand, they need to hire a thresher to get the grain. I remember when I was a child, when we harvested rice by hand, we used buffaloes or cows to get grain. That is no longer the case in modern times.
They are said that, doing like that so is tiring and a waste of time, but doing so traditionally saves more money.
These are the real lives of the people in the countryside. I just wrote some of their stories, there are many more things they do for their lives and their families. I hope you are all well everywhere you are. I pray to the angels not to start a war, to have peace for all the people.

Some of us think that living in a country side is so boring. But for me it's so good. Because I feel like all are fresh when we are there. The air, the vegetables and more.
When I was a kid I also used to go with my godmother who had a little kubo in the country side. They have rice fields, coconut trees there which I really love. So I feel what you feel way back then.โบ

It's really nice to live in the countryside, I know that because the truth is that I myself was also born and raised in the village. I like this life I was born and lived in Bangkok for 38-39 years. Now I moved to the rural village in northern Thailand for 4-5 years. I think rural life in neighboring countries In ASEAN we are similar.
