God has perfect timing. Trust him. - Weeks before the announcement or release of the LET Passers, there were mixed emotions. The result came out so well. I cried from happiness because this is the second attempt at my cousin's board examination. She was scared before taking the exam that she couldn't do well in it again, but with her confidence and determination and God's guidance, the result was so smooth. Maybe this is the right time. Her best time.
After we finally knew the result of the examination, we went back to Sto. Nino, our oldest Catholic church here in the Philippines, which is known for His miracles, to light some candles and give thanks for passing her exam. We give thanks to the Lord God for her success, who guided her from start to finish for all her effort. She's a single mom. She gave birth to her son when she was still in college. The eldest of three siblings. And I know the life of a single mom is not easy. You have to be very strong at all times and be both mother and father. I know her heartaches and the ups and downs. She, like me, is willing to listen to my life's dramas. Like my other close cousin, I treat her as my true sister since she's been very close to my heart since we were kids. Even if she already had a son, we really appreciate her effort from her sleepless nights just to review right after work when she got home. She still managed to get or give what her son needed. After church, she had no idea we had prepared her favorite food to celebrate and a surprise cake. I just told her when we were still in the church that we should just celebrate some other day because we were out of budget and the important thing was that we already went to church and thanked God. I can see on her face how happy she is about the result. She really proves that one should believe in oneself first.
After you passed your exam or the result came out so well, I'm sure the only word that comes to mind is "thank you." That means he really deserves Thanksgiving. You need to trust him. For those who tried but failed to make it, please don't lose hope. Don't focus on the one failure that broke you apart. I know God has another plan for you too. Always have patience. It's really true that every good news, every perfect gift, and the perfect timing are from our Lord God. With prayers and preparation, I'm sure success will follow.
