When i was hunting for blue lagoon at Vang Vienne ,i saw there is many people gather near temple with nice dress and the small tree decorate money on it. I was curious and decide to see the event.

I try to ask around what was happening , but they cant speak English. So, as usual we communicate with sign language. One thing that i realize their clothes is so beautiful especially the skirt was made from the silk woven and its so expensive.

At the end of ceremony , the monk come to me and give some blessing to me the uninvited guest . Even thought im not practice Budish , but i respect their religion and its good to have blessing from everyone.

This is the first time i see the event like this because there was no event like this in our country , which is a eyes opening to respect and tolerate other culture and religion.

I asked my Cambodian wife, and she said this looks a lot like a fundraising event meant to help with expenses at the monastery such as construction, maintenance, etc.

Absolutely beautiful textiles in some of these shots.
