Happy weekend, everyone. It was morning at my place (12:24 am), and I was just waking up after recovering from the tiredness of working this week. I feel so refreshed getting a few hours of daytime sleep today, but thinking back that I need to work again today makes me a little down, so I'm taking my time scrolling my phone and checking the previous photo of good memories in Singapore with friends and my wife.
Accidentally, I check my photo with Wayan (one of my Myanmar friends) checking up some friend's practical place during my first day off. It was fun to travel all day just to disturb them working while we got our off day.
ACCIDENTLY VISITING SRI SRINIVASA PERUMAL TEMPLE IN SERANGGON ROAD
Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple was one of consider heritage building in Singapore that has been constructed in 1855 . It was one of the oldest Hindu temples in SInagpore . In 10 November 1978 , the temple has been gazzeted as national monument in Singapore. Source
Historically, the land was purchased from the East India Company in 1851, and the construction started in 1855. Architecture: The main feature of the temple is its five-tiered gopuram, which is adorned with various avatars of Vishnu and other Hindu deities. Using the floral and abstract motifs with colourful mandalas and elaborate carvings as symbols of the universe and enlightenment, decorate the interiors of the mandapam or prayer hall. Source
It was a beautiful temples , unfortunately we only have limited time visiting the temple due to our plan visiting our friends at that time . I ll be visiting the temple again in future to take better photo of it which it been added to my visit list in Singapore.
