Good day fellow hivers! How are you doing these days? I hope everyone is doing well. My last post was a week ago I've been busy this week and had tight days because my second born is not feeling well because he is teething, he wanted to carry most of the time that's why I don't have time to post my blog. Last Sunday I attended mass together with my husband and my kids at St. Isidore Parish Church at Mantalongon, Dalaguete Cebu. It's 25 minutes drove away from our house. It's a great day to start with a peaceful morning at church filled with reflection.
The weather today appears to be partly cloudy with a mix of sunshine and fluffy white clouds dominating the sky. This pine trees are the backside view from the church.
The Parish Priest together with the Pastoral Council took effort to have decoration in a symbol of celebrating the Valentines Day.
My daughter when she saw the cotton candy, she was very excited to buy. The cotton candy is very attractive to children because of its various colors and has multicolored combinations.
At the back part of the church, they have garden of Anthuriums. These are also commonly called Flamingo Lilies. This plant has many varities. The church has no problem of flowers to decorate, they will just pick up in the garden they can save a lot of money to buy flowers in the market.
After church we went to the market to buy some groceries, and I have to buy sandal for my daughter for her upcoming school activity. As you can see in the picture the Mantalongon Public Market is very crowded, a busy market. There are numerous people around the market.Parking lot is one of the problems in this area. There is road under construction nearby. While strolling in the market will need more patience. The cars, motorcycles, big trucks come and go. Mantalongon Public Market is where the people bring their crops and harvested vegetables to sell. It is well known as the vegetable basket of Cebu. This is everyday situation in this market.
I went up on the second floor of the building to buy sandal for my daughter for her upcoming activity in school. She fits the white and the pink one. We bought the pink because she likes it more than the white and she also wants a new toy.
I drop in the pharmacy to buy vitamins for my kids and also, I have to buy pills for my PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome. I had my ultrasound last December and I was diagnosed I have a PCOS.
This bakeshop amazed me this is the only bakeshop has the cheapest price ranges two to five pesos per piece, cheap but delicious. I bought doughnuts, torta, pan de coconut.
These big trucks will transport vegetables going Carbon Public Market in Cebu City. it will take four hours' drive.
This week the farmers are very disappointed. The fluctuating price of vegetables is a major obstacle for farmers. Unpredictable prices severely impact farmers' livelihoods. It's difficult to plan for the future and invest in their farms. There were times cabbages and pechay were thrown, it's very disgusting farmers can't even get the capital.

Indeed a well spent Sunday! I hope your baby will recover enough soon, because from what I've experienced when my sister was teething,it was exhausting and it made them weak by having so much symptoms. God bless your family,Ma'am 💓.
I'm amazed how that bakery sell breads at a lowest price, huhu. I love love breads and pastries so much but I can't afford to buy it sometimes , because it's expensive (for me, at least)😂, if I were to live there I'd buy every type of it and it won't hurt my wallet haha.
Farmers are the real heroes, they might not be seen and heard at times like this , but they've played such a big role to our community, country. They're the ones who help us feed ourselves, but also the ones who often get disappointed 😔. I feel sorry for them and I hope they'll get what they deserve someday.

Yes, when the baby starts teething it is tough time for the baby and the mother. Thanks God my baby is back to his normal routine. He has now six teeth, expected in the following months he will have symptoms of teething again.
Every day I eat bread even the price gets higher and higher. That bakery remains their price even the ingredients are expensive they just adjust the size of their bread, but it takes me 20 minutes' drive going that bakery.
I don't know when the time is the government can be able to see the situation of the farmers. Sometimes the farmers let the vegetables rotten in the farm than harvesting it. The farmers have no assurance that their planted crops and vegetables can gain profit.
I find that giving my kids cold fruits for them to chew helps a lot when they are teething. It soothes their gums and takes away the pain. There are some balms that can be slathered on their gums but my kids does not seem to like the taste. I hope your baby feels better soon. I put Xylo gel on his gum to soothes the pain. He is now okay, back to his usual self. In the following month another struggle he has six teeth as of now.
