Hello everyone.
I’m Misty Pearl of Butuan city, a little sister of @iamshane487. I’m fourteen years old. I’m a junior Grade 9 Student at the Chinese School. This year, I’ll be moving to another school which is cheaper. It’s sad for me because I’ll no longer be a classmate of my bestfriends. I already made some friends of that Chinese school. We went to the mall together, dined in together, shopped together and had a slumber party.
Moving to another school is challenging for me who already built good relationships with my classmates that became my close friends including their families, but, like the wise men say, there’s no permanent in this world. It’s challenging but I know I can handle the pressure to meet new faces, environment and the different strategies of their teaching. Unlike my former school, this new school has thousands of students, but the most outstanding secondary school of Butuan. This school is Agusan National High School.
Agusan National Highschool is the oldest secondary school of Butuan. Well-known celebrities, politicians, doctors, lawyers, teachers, engineers and business owners are mostly from this school. It is a public institution with thousands of students from different parts of Butuan and Agusan del Norte. Even if it is crowded, their teachings are most advanced than any other schools of Butuan. Teachers focus their students, especially those in higher sections. It is a free school the fact that it is public, but most people that live in Butuan would always recommend the place if parents like their children to get good grades and have an advance learning.
My former Chinese school we called Timbercity Academy has also focuses on student capabilities of learning, but not all families can afford it. My family has decided to transfer me into public school because for them, my expenses there is like I’m already college. Their miscellaneous is more expensive than the college student expenses, plus the fare everyday, food and some projects that every teacher demands. My family has planned to send me at the private school soon when I’ll be in college. Right now that I’m still highschool, schooling in Agusan High (Sanhay) is practical.
My sister Shane had helped me creating an account in this website so I could have money when I’ll go back to school this coming July. At least, I’ll no longer ask my mother’s help financially if there are projects at school. I’m grateful to my sister and to her friend @olivia08 for making me a new account. I must grab this opportunity in being here so I could support some small problems at school and I’m very happy to be here. I’m also excited to meet new friends, especially those who are teenagers like me. Thank you for reading.
