Meet my youngest daughter Ria she's three years old and she loves to eat fruits. Specially those rambutan and lonngan when hubby has a spare he makes sure that he'll remember to buy fruits for our little one.

Ria's favourite

When those fruits are not seasonal they are a bit pricey. But because Ria is adorable hubby can't resist to buy this for Ria. And for a long period of time I never seen Ria waste this fruits. She likes its natural flavours and sweetness.

Hubby's favourite

Hubby told me that when he was young his father is a driver of watermelons. So before it went home he will assure to bring five to six watermelon for them. Because if not they will surely argue, sometimes it's sour sometimes it sweet. And as hubby grow old he can already tell if the watermelon is sweet or not even it's not already open. He told me that I need to look at the stem if it's fresh or already dry.

Mom's favorite

I grew together with this Bananas I mean mom never lose bananas at home. It's her breakfast with rice and vitamins and she's ready to go in the office. I also eat bananas but not like mom she can eat it everyday. After I gave birth she told me eat this regularly because it's very rich in potassium. And I need it to replenish my strength.

Celebrating New Year

IMG_20221201_082031.jpg

We Filipinos have traditional beliefs that before welcoming a new year we need to prepare 12 to 13 kinds of round fruits. It's symbolices wealth and prosperity. Mom also said thats it's better to fill all the spaces of the table with food so in the whole year we could receive abundant blessings. And I believe her because she accompanied it with hardwork.

Thank you so much for reading
Hope to see you in my next blog
Love, @usagigallardo015 🌙

You enjoy a lot of the same fruits we do. When my youngest daughter was only 2 years old, she found our bag of rambutans ate more than a kilo by herself before we found her. Her nickname became "Sav Mav" for many years because of this, that is the Khmer name for rambutan. Thanks for joining this challenge, now I want a watermelon 😁.

Thank you so much sir @justinparke I remember something in your story then you mentioned the watermelon. Way back before we can't afford to buy watermelon so everytime we were given my son almost eat even it's skin 🤦🏻‍♀️😅🤣 but of course it was sweet. And now his enjoying every watermelon we have
