This is the second part of the Christmas party celebration in our company and this time, there are lots of happenings after the mini games that we play together in the first part of the program.
It was about half past seven already when we finished the games and we were happy for the result as we won two mini games that we play together.
After the games that we played, we ate our dinner. Yes, it's dinner time since it's already night and most of the employees were also hungry at this time. We were almost 200 employees and there are 3 lines of food catering on the side and each of the lines had the same food variants except for the first line that has some snacks and desserts that we can choose but most employees didn't mind it and they mind the food because they are very hungry.
Well, there are different kinds of food that they prepare. Let's start with the rice since we are Filipinos and rice is life, next a pork stew, red-cooked pork (Humba) is one of my favorites, fried chicken, and lastly is the lechon (roasted pig). Of course, if we are eating this heavy meal, we won't forget the cola for refreshments or drinks.
While we were eating, there is a band that is singing in front of us. They sang songs that are also familiar so that we can vibe while we eat the food. It's a good thing that they have a band while we eat our dinner and it's like eating in a luxurious place with a band.
After dinner, we officially started our program and we also prepare our outfits in our team because there is a small competition in each of the departments about caroling. Yes, we had a competition together and the first prize will be 5,000php or roughly almost 100USD. We practice this caroling together in the past 2 weeks after our work. There are times that we can't practice because of our different schedules but we manage to pull it off in the competition.
While we proceed on the next part, there is a presentation from one of the departments about their lights and it's also one of the best part that we saw together and it's also my first time seeing it. There is a lights show that we look at in front of us. The lights were changing its colors, directions, blinking, and stuffs. There are also a small mini fountain lights after the end of the lights show that makes us "AWE" after seeing it.
The parts of the programs were giving of plaques of appreciation, awards, years of services and other stuffs within the company. They are the shaped of the company for continuing their services and efforts that they showed within the company. Well, maybe in the next few years, I will be the one who is walking in front of the stage getting these awards and stuffs but not today since I'm only new to this company.
There are also presentations after each of the awards that they give like after each of the two presenters, there is an award that they will give to the employees who work really hard.
I congratulate to those employees who are giving their best in the company and continuing to serve in the company with their best of their knowledge and abilities. You deserve that awards as you continue to contribute your skills within the company.
After each of the presenters that present their sing and dance caroling and they announce their results, we were lucky to be the second winner and the champion is from the other department because they are good in their sing and dance caroling.
I almost forgot that we exchange gifts or giving gifts to the employees and we give gifts to the person who we get from drawing lots that we do in the second week of December.
We, as employees, were very happy at the end because of the food, the experience, also there is a small token of gratitude to us from our CEO and at the same time, the CEO gives us our bonus to each one of the employees and not just that, the company also gives 5 kilos of rice to each of the employees, too.
I could say that the company is one of the best that I experience and this is my first time getting this kind of gifts from the company, too.
