Now coffee has become one of the most popular drinks, especially in the capital city like Jakarta. Because of the high demand, coffee businessmen are now making a breakthrough. Instead of selling coffee in a building which then makes the area a coffee shop, now coffee businessmen are starting to sell their coffee mobilely, namely visiting customers wherever they are.
Yup, now selling coffee doesn't have to be in a coffee shop. Now coffee brands are starting to compete to visit their customers by selling around using carts or mini cars like this.
This is how Kopi Kopter sells their coffee, by going around. This reminds me of the film Filosopi Kopi where two friends travel around Indonesia by car to sell coffee. Interesting, isn't it?
Especially for this Kopi Kopter, I just found it here. He stopped near my house, right in front of a restaurant called Kampung Kecil. He knew that the restaurant would always be busy so selling coffee in that area would reap more profits.
I tried this coffee once, just to fulfill my coffee experience. Since I didn't want to be bothered with plastic waste, I brought my tumbler. I asked the barista to use a tumbler instead of their cup, of course without ice. I can get the ice after arriving at the office later. Yup, I'm waiting for the Transjakarta bus to the office.
