Hello hivers, today i will share my culinary adventure.
Starting our day with a basket full of fresh, vibrant ingredients. The crisp lettuce, glistening apples, ripe bananas with their perfect spots of sweetness, cucumber and a zesty citrus waiting to brighten up the flavors—what more could we ask for? 🍎🥬🍌 Each item whispers, “Turn me into something magical,” and who are we to deny such a request? It’s fresh from my mini garden.
Before that, let me drink first some coconut water to detoxify our body especially our kidney and eat some coconut meat🥥 🥥 🥥
Alright so the journey begins with a little magic preparation. Washing the greens, peeling the fruit, and slicing everything to perfection feels almost meditative. The kitchen is alive with the sound of knives gently meeting cutting boards, the occasional hiss of steam, and that unmistakable citrusy aroma as you squeeze the lime. It’s like a mini orchestra performing just for you! 🎶
Once the preparation is done, it’s time to assemble the salad 🥗. Oh, the colors! Vibrant cucumbers, apples sliced into perfect crescents, bananas adding a surprise sweetness, and lettuce standing tall and proud like the star of the show. Drizzle it with a simple dressing or maybe something zesty if you’re feeling adventurous, and voilà—a masterpiece that looks like it belongs on the cover of a food magazine!
But wait, there’s more. Wow ! the heart of today’s meal is bubbling away in a cozy pot on the stove. A hearty stew, packed with chunky veggies, leafy greens, and a dash of spice to keep things exciting 🌶️. The steam curls up, carrying with it the scent of garlic, onion, and a symphony of other spices, making it nearly impossible to wait for lunchtime.
What’s the secret ingredient, you ask? It’s love, of course! ❤️ There’s something so satisfying about cooking with fresh ingredients you’ve chosen yourself.
Each chop, stir, and taste test feels intentional, like you’re crafting something truly special.
As the stew simmers, you sneak a little taste just to check the seasoning, obviously it’s everything you’d hoped for. The chili adds just enough for a kick, the veggies are tender but still hold their shape, and the broth absolutely perfect. 🍲this is a simple recipe, living in a simple life but obviously perfect for the good of our body.
Cooking isn’t just about the food. It’s about the experienced—the joy of transforming simple, humble ingredients into something extraordinary. It’s about celebrating the little things: the crunch of lettuce, the sweetness of fruit, the warmth of a homemade meal.
Lunch is served, and it’s a feast for both the eyes and the stomach. The salad is crisp and refreshing, a light and healthy to start a meal in a day. The stew is rich, warming, and comforting-a hug in a bowl, if you will. The best part! Knowing you made it all from scratch, using ingredients straight from the nature’s to the pantry.
So, what’s next on your culinary adventure? Whatever it is, remember: the best meals are made with fresh ingredients, a bit of creativity, and a whole lot of love. 🍽️✨Homemade food for the good of our body.
I love homemade foods. And like my mother used to say: you can serve love when you’re serving a meal. It comes straight out of the kettle. Thanks for reminding me about that 🥰
thank you for your comments and compliments. Yes it's true, as a mother, to serve the healthy food to the family is our happiness especially to the children, say hello to your mom for me.
I certainly would but she passed away a few years ago. But her spirit remains in our house. Thank you 🙏
ohh i'm sorry for hearing that. Yes no one can replace a good mother, the good memory remains in us especially when she is caring.
thank you so much everyone who likes my post.
Wow! If I have those in my garden too then it's going to be a salad party everyday. 🤩 is there a specific type of letteuce which can grow in lowlands?
try to find a store who sells everything for the farm. There are different lettuce, it's very easy to plant, they grow wherever there is a soil. Mine i plant only in a pot.
Oh I'll give it another try next time! Thank you 😊

My mama used to plant cucumber, bittergourd, and a few other plants but they died one by one when she passed away. I can only grow aloe vera plants now and some oregano and malunggay. 😅
