Welcome to my new post. How's everything? I hope all goes well. It's Sunday, so are you spending this evening with friends or family? Yesterday I painted the gate door with my father. However, the painting was not finished in one day yesterday, so I continued painting some of the remaining areas early in the morning. Today I will tell you about the fruit that I picked at my backyard house.
Even though my backyard isn't very big, my father has planted all kinds of plants. My father also planted flowering plants, fruits and vegetables. The fruit I picked today is dragon fruit. My father has been planting this plant for about a year. How do you grow dragon fruit in your area? Where I live, they grow it by grafting. My father got some branches of the dragon fruit plant from his friend. I put those branches in the ground and water them constantly.
Now the plant has grown quite a bit and is bearing fruit. My father grows dragon fruit in a corner of our yard. My father made the plant grow against the fence so that it wouldn't need much space. The dragon fruit flower looks like a lotus flower and blooms at night. That's why I didn't take a photo of it when it was in bloom.
The picture above is a picture I took when the flower was just starting to turn into a fruit. You can see the flower bud fading at the top of the green dragon fruit in the picture. As you can see in the picture, when the fruit is first appear, the whole fruit is green and the edges are slightly red.

In that picture, the dragon fruit is starting to turn pink, but the edges are still green. At first I thought that situation was ripe for picking, but my father told me not to pick yet.
The dragon fruit shown above is a picture I took today. The pink color has become darker and there is no longer any green on the edges. The size is also getting bigger.
This dragon fruit is the first dragon fruit that has grown in our garden. I have never picked dragon fruits before. Wow, beautiful looking fruit. I didn't know it's easy to plant dragon fruit, so we can just plant the branches to propagate. I heard that dragon fruits only bear fruit once a year so this is expensive in my country. Have you tried them already? Perhaps you can make dragon fruit shake. 😊
so that's how the dragon fruit root looks likee hehe, I've actually never seen dragon fruits root before I only seen them in the market I thought they were in tree🥹😅
