🌱Start planting mustard leaves sprouts for rainy season🌱

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY7 months ago

Hello my loving Asean Hive community,

Hello Hello......Welcome back to my small garden blog. Today I am going to explain about the small plants that I planted with my father with video and pictures. Now, before I talk about the new plants in my yard, I'll talk about the weather first. How is the weather in your area? Is it still hot? In the area where I live, the weather will soon be here, but the weather is still hot.

The rainy season is coming soon, so we are starting to plant seeds for the plants to grow well in the rainy season. The first plant we plan to plant is Mustard leaves. We grow mustard leaves from seeds, not stems. For mustard leaves seeds, we used ready-made seed packets imported from China. Since we are going to start planting from seeds, first plant the seeds in the prepared soil so that the plants come out first. The picture shown above is when small plants start to emerge from the seeds in the compost. I took that picture about a week ago.

The picture shown above is what I took today. Now is a good time to transplant mustard leaves.

I put all the mustard leaves planted in the compost into a bowl.

The soil in my small garden, as shown in the first picture, is very hard and difficult for plants to grow. So, as shown in the second picture, the soil has been modified to compost to make it easier for the plants to survive.

My father sprinkled a little water on the soil to be planted and made small holes. I put some mustard sprouts in those little holes and planted them. That's how my father planted all the mustard sprouts.

Some of the pictures I took today are listed above. These days, even though the weather is hot, it will rain, so there is no need to water every day. I'll be back with a new post when these sprouts grow. That's it for today. Thank you very much for reading my post to the end.

It's still hot in the Philippines @winelay. I guess it will last until next month.

I love looking at your mustard plants. You planted a lot and I hope it will rain in the coming days as you've mentioned to help them grow well.

You will surely have a bountiful harvest soon. 🫶
