Garlic bread is a staple is this household, too, and always elicits a very positive reaction as well. Now, I do have a problem getting my boys to eat any form of vegetable. Maybe I ought to try deep frying some greens as well. Interesting! I've never heard of that before.

Well since you're not in SE Asia, I highly recommend using kale if you deep fry greens. Consistency is key, and because cabbage is veiny, some of it comes out crispy and other parts undercooked. Kale is perfectly flat, so cut out the stem and it makes some super fast crunchies, literally in seconds when deep-fried.

Hmmmm....perhaps deep-fried greens on garlic bread for the ultimate crunch 😉.

That's an awesome idea. I even grow my own kale! That garlic bread topping does sound nummy. Mmmm!
