In Southeast Asian countries, the cost of living is usually very cheap, but if you go to the suburbs of big cities, the cost is even cheaper. I have lived in Hanoi for 3 to 4 years and have a lot of experience. If you live in the suburbs, the cost of living is half the cost of living in the inner city, but you must know how to ride a motorbike hehe.
