It's really a nightmare. They're making it difficult for us in the guise of curbing human trafficking, but out of 32,000 travellers offloaded last year, only 1.46% are truly victims of human trafficking. It's already been discussed in the Senate on how to punish abusive immigration officers, but it's the Philippines, so it will take time before any considerable improvement is felt.

Btw I wonder if that smiling millennial or Gen Z female immigration officer has already registered an account here on Hive after everything you told her :D

I hope she will try Hive to document her perspective on offloading Filipino travellers. LOL

Crazy. I know that it´s almost impossible for the Venezuelans to leave their country as the government doesn´t even give them passports but I didn´t know it was so bad in your country as well...
