Hello everyone! I hope you are well and healthy. As for me, I am good, now on my workplace and it is a boring day for me. Most of my colleagues were not around which is something I like because there is no distractions on doing whatever I please today.
Anyway, back to the title of this blog, I made a quick run on a DIY store on our locality today. My bag sa broken for several weeks and I really need to fix it already.

The rent on my bag started small and became bigger over the past few weeks as I did not cease to load my bag with the stuff I think I needed to bring every day.
I was okay with it, I still wore my bag every day to my workplace until my husband said I really need to change my bag. It was really his bag at the first place and I kind of borrowed it from him and did not return. Lol! He felt sorry for me but I actually did not care.
I honestly had attached emotions to the bag, perhaps because it holds my stuff very well every day. I actually planned on mending the rent but I was looking for a fabric that is strong enough to hold heavy loads and also wished for the color to match. I already had one in mind but I forgot where I put the fabric and just found it last Sunday when I rearranged all our clothes yet I also got very busy to nend it right away.
So yesterday, as I was putting my stuff on my bag, I saw the rent getting bigger and bigger, my husband also told me again to replace the bag so I took the(replacement )fabric out and the thread 🧵 to show jim I am doing the repair that day only to realise that the needles I had in mysaeinh kit are too small. My sister borrowed my big needle and did not return it yet.
So went to work, having in mind that my husband was not agreeing with me on mending the rent on the bag.
At my work place, I also realised that I couldn't het the sewing done because the light buld above me is not working andit was dark, I could not do the sewing or I'll hurt my eyes 👀. But the thing is that the scissors on the office is new and sharp.
Anyway, at lunchtime, I went to the canteen and bought some coffee to apit it with the bread I bought, there the sweet snacks caught my eyes!
I often see macaroons on the internet and got curious on how they would taste so I bought some and also included Goya white chocolate. All my purchases costed a dollar! so expensive! I immediately tried the macaroons and all I tasted was it was so sweet and the flavours are artificial.
In the evening, my husband came to pick me up from work, we had coffee and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon view and went home. We could ass bu on the DIY shop so I asked my husband to stop and so he did. He did not join me inside so I hurried my way.
I was welcomed by the things the store had. I continued my way and found some upside down reflectionson the laddles! Oh my, I was becoming more of a reflection hunter!
I already know where the sewing kits were and found them instantly.
As I watched closely, I got confused in what to buy and contemplated for a moment, the I decided to chise what weighed more on what I eeded and the price.
Here are the things I got to choose.
This is what I chose considering I am going to need a needle strong and nig enough to go through the bag's hard and thick materials..
This sewing needle set is far too many from what I needed but I would be able to use them one day soon, they won't spoil anyway. It only cost 29 pesos, 0.5 dollars and it was a great buy for me.
I went tot he counter and paid, I neevr dare d.lookinh at anything because I might release my impil9niying attitude that day, and without time to lose, I went to where my husband waited for me and we went home straight.
Having a DIY stor near me is an absolute happiness! It has almost everything one would need including new sewing needle kits!

For women, we get easily attached to our bags I understand that feeling especially when we choose that particular bag for everyday use. I keep extra thread and needles so I have something to use if the need arise. I also mend some clothes sometimes but I haven't tried mending a bag. That will be your assignment this evening then.🙂😊
I will post is soon sis, and the result was incredible! I love needle works and I get things done whenever necessary. I did have several several needles in my kit but I think they are too small to do the work
