Wonderful day, everyone! How ae you all? I had been very busy these past few days that I was not able to make a post in here. I hope you are well.

Exciting Additional Pay

Christmas is coming and this is the bussiest month of the year. Anyway, this is the most exciting too since 13th month pay is coming; I am really grateful about this pay because imagine, you will be paid with additional payment without rendering another hours at work( but I've come to think of it I had been working for it the whole year, going to work even I'm not feeling well just to make the pay at the end of the year)

Since I am paid a little above minimum, I made some plans on the money I am about to receive, but the husband is really the Budget officer at home. He has lots of things in mind, our leaking roof, the farm, our planned boarding house and more while all I thought was buy things for the kids and this and that. Glad my husband was thinking of things we could use longer and for income. Afterall, he was thr one who has fre time to roam around and see things while I am limited to the things at my work place.

earning crypto and having regrets spending them

Anyway, I really craved for financial freedom thus I picked a bit of the pay for crypto trading focused on Hive.

my coins back then

So I had no idea about crypto until May 2021. I was introduced to noise.cash where I earned BCH, then read.cash then Hive and Steem then Blurt. If only I had not spent the satoshis back then😅

It took me so long to cash the satoshis I earned I had regrets learning to do so but at least I knew they were legit hehe. A for Hive, I powered up all of my earnings until I learnt to power it down and cashed over 8 thousand pesos in March 2024, spent it on a family reunion and never again will I do that.

This year, I decided to power down most of my steem earnings and converted them to hive thru binance app and powered it up when the market crashed and this November, I reached 3k hp but powered down for three weeks after learning about futurebank. But the site was down and thank God powering down takes 7 days for first withdrawal and was not able to invest there or I would have even more regrets. The original plan was to unstake Hive and invest and buy a better phone with the profit. But now that plans were changed, I guess a new phone will have to wait since my current phone is till working even with ghost touches sometimes.

Anyway, I put 223 hive on my binance account and sold them when the price was about .31 and bought hive again at around .22. not really sure of the price since I did not take screenshots but my 233 hive grew to 326 hive coins. This includes the $18 worth of BCH converted to hive.

what's the connection about my 13rh month pay and crypto?

I received the pay in my account on Friday and decided to transfer some amount on my e-wallet to buy USDT to buy hive coins since the prices were low on Friday but I lost an opportunity

losing an opportunity

I'm not even sure what p2p means in binance, and I was not interested until that day. What happened was that I asked someone (who rented my e-wallet, I am using my husband's, he was a crypto trader and is exposing me to other crypto coins and possibilities) sell me some USDT that night. I waited until I fell asleep and it didn't came. It turned out he was somewhere far from the city and having trouble in his internet connection and sent the coins the next day at 11 am when the prices are already going up. It's already too late to buy hive.

learning late

We had a bit of conversation I asked where to buy crypto with the lowest transaction fees and he advised me on the binance p2p. He even sent me a video tutorial on that and there I picked idea how to. If only I had interest on how to do this sooner... Regrets come last but at least it's still not that late for me to learn.

My wish that crypto would go down when I receive my 13rh month pay happened but Im missed a great opportunity to gain the possible profit but there will always be next time. I just hope that there won't be an incident that I would need to withdraw my funds in binance so I will be able to wait until the prices are low enough for me to buy and high enough for me to sell.

As for the HPs I unstaked, I planned on powering them up again I am still learning things so I must limit the funds just incase something would go wrong in my transactions. At least staking hive is sure to earn

I really don't know if what I am doing was good or right but I hope this will give me good results. I am more focused on hive for a not so complicated trading since I know that Hive is really alive!

I may be a late bloomer and I am taking my pace slowly yet I am on my way to my goal and I hope I will succeed in my plans. I would not limit myself in learning p2p, there are many possibilities in crypto and I hope I will have the time and interest to learn more.

Some may laugh at how slow my pace is but we all have different perceptions about things and I am just glad that our perspective changes as we grow mature.

Did you have interest in learning trading the day you learnt about crypto?

What's your story?

P2P means Person to Person, and is not limited to Binance app. There are also informal ways to do it as some people publicize their want/need to sell, things can be settled directly. The advantage of Binance app is that it already provides a platform for people willing to trade. This helps reduce the risk of scammers.

Another investment vehicle you may consider to learn is through stocks/mutual funds. In my case, I got exposed more in trading Philippine stocks before I got into crypto.
The discipline is pretty much the same; hence, learning more asset classes is beneficial to one's financial journey. :)

Thanks for the information. There are still lots of things to learn and I don't know where to start nor find time to learn about it. I added you to my favorites so I would learn from your posts.
