My post this time will discuss about plants that are beneficial to health, the name is Stachytarpheta Jamaicensis. Plants that still grow wild and are sometimes considered nuisance weeds by farmers have health benefits and benefits. This plant is often found in plantation areas, on roadsides, and in rice fields. The plant is often considered a weed because it can interfere with other plants, therefore farmers often consider it a nuisance plant. Plants originating from South Florida can grow in areas at an altitude of 700m above sea level, and thrives on sandy soil.1

Tanaman yang masih tumbuh liar dan kadang dianggap gulma pengganggu oleh para petani ternyata memiliki manfaat dan khasiat bagi kesehatan. Tanaman ini sering dijumpai di area perkebunan, di pinggir jalan, dan persawahan. Tanaman tersebut sering dianggap gulma karena dapat menggagu tanaman lain, oleh sebab itu para petani sering menganggapnya sebagai tanaman hama penganggu. Tanaman yang berasal dari Selatan Florida tersebut bisa tumbuh di daerah pada ketinggian 700m di atas permukaan laut, dan tumbuh subur di atas tanah berpasir.1

Ada banyak manfaat dari tanaman Stachytarpheta Jamaicensis. Hal ini disebabkan karena terdapat kandungan zat kimia berupa alkaloid dan glikosa. Sehingga tanaman tersebut bisa digunakan untuk mengobati penyakit amandel, radang tenggorokan, batuk, dan hepatitis A.1 Setelah mengetahui banyaknya manfaat dari tanaman Stachytarpheta Jamaicensis, maka kita harus bisa menjaga kelestarian dari tanaman tersebut. Wow many times I do cut the plant I never knew it could for all the things you have said . What we usually use it to do is to cut it and place it inside the house to prevent mosquitoes to stay inside the room. Thanks for sharing
