Point 2 - Regência Espírito Santo
Yoooo, what's up guys, all right? I saw on @surfgurupro that a big swell is going to come in this week where I live,and usually with big swells, here it tends to get even more polluted in fact.
So I would like to share with you a little the reality of Surf Capixaba, the region where I live... So, between reports and beautiful but dirty photographs, I hope you enjoy the ride, in the garbage tube.
Point 1 - Regência, 1 year after Mariana dam collapse
The truth is that for years now, the Atlantic forest, the coastal region such as sandbanks, mangroves, has been suffering a lot from the environmental impact of large companies, mining companies... ports, logistics, etc.
After more than 12 years constantly surfing these waves and learning a little about the dynamics of Nature, some of the variables that contribute to Dirt in the Sea are very clear to me.
This is a secret spot that I've been surfing since I was a kid, my dream is to drop this tube, but blue, and not so bright ore. But i still happy :)
Problem number 1: Geographic Position of companies that impact the environment
A few years ago, companies that set up in the coastal, maritime region of Espírito Santo, expanded their piers and their work areas into the sea, eating up the strip of sand, unbalancing all this flow of current, life, organic matter that comes and goes from the edge, in addition to creating a kind of shelter.
There were a lot of surfs on this other bench, which by chance works very well in Southeast swells, one of the directions that is dirty. So in this place, because it is leaning against structures and stone, there is an accumulation of waste.
I remember that in this session there were thick oil stains... and this oil became famous, an unwelcome tourist who wanders wherever the current takes him.
As in geographical position many of these piers were built on the corners of Mapa, Example, Barra Nova, Estaleiro Jurong, Jacaraipe, Carapebus / Camburi, the impact with polluting waters is even greater and takes longer for cleaning.
According to Ibama (Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources), oil reached 321 locations, around 10 states.
And he still doesn't know if the spill was accidental or deliberate... Investigations point out that the origin of the oil leak comes from 1 Greek ship, named Bouboulina, which passed through Brazilian territory.
The oil in question was produced in Venezuela, according to investigations.

Problem number 2: High level of rain, water crisis.
In Brazil, we have many rivers, lakes, groundwater that are interconnected, so they are all impacted in some way by a mutation.

What happens as a phenomenon of nature is the following, when many rivers in the northeast are full, coming from heavy rains, aligned with undulations from the East, sells the North quadrant, water crisis in some springs and ore dumps, and pollutants and rivers, as in dams.
All this concentrated polluting waste ends up here, both through the Rio Doce and around the coast. And here they stay, due to the concentration stations reported above (Problem 1) until a swell comes from the South, and cleaner currents. It is complicated.
Problem number 3: Qualified pollution crime.
Moment when 40 million cubic meters of toxic mud waste reach the Sea, through the nursery of life, Rio Doce.
Failed attempts at total devastation of Fauna and Flora for the execution of millionaire projects, environmental attacks, Toxic Mud with Lead, Zinc, arsenic, cesium, copper, magnesium, intestinal infections, hospital visits. etc., in addition to other oily materials that are dispersed in the sea and barely have time collection for analysis, study and report, sad. They characterize a little of my journey as a Surfer in Espirito Santo.
And for these and other reasons, today I am a guy who, whenever possible, tries to raise awareness of the importance of playing our role in the environment, whenever I am in nature I provide cleaning services, focusing on microplastics, I also do this work for means of awareness in the graphic arts that I carry out at Airdrop Culture, together with Slow Fashion production, in addition to embracing the initiative against plastic with my friends @preciousplastes and @surflimpo

Ponto 2 - Regência do Espírito Santo
E aí pessoal, tudo bem? Vi no @surfgurupro que vai vir um swell grande nessa semana onde moro, e geralmente com swells grandes, aqui tende a ficar ainda mais poluído de fato.
Então gostaria de compartilhar com vocês um pouco da realidade do Surf Capixaba, região onde moro... Então, entre relatos e lindas mas sujas fotografias, espero que gostem do passeio, no tubo do lixo.
Ponto 1 - Regência, 1 ano após colapso de Mariana
A verdade é que há anos a mata atlântica, a região litorânea como restinga, manguezal, vem sofrendo muito com o impacto ambiental de grandes empresas, mineradoras... portos, logística, etc.
Depois de mais de 12 anos a surfar constantemente nestas ondas e a aprender um pouco sobre a dinâmica da Natureza, algumas das variáveis que contribuem para a Sujeira no Mar são-me muito claras.
Esse é um spot secreto que eu surfo desde criança, meu sonho é dropar esse tubo, mas azul, e minério não tão brilhante. Mas ainda estou feliz :)
Problema número 1: Posição geográfica das empresas que impactam o meio ambiente
Há alguns anos, empresas que se instalaram na região litorânea, marítima do Espírito Santo, expandiram seus píeres e suas áreas de trabalho para o mar, devorando a faixa de areia, desequilibrando todo esse fluxo de correnteza, vida, matéria orgânica que vem e vai da orla, além de criar uma espécie de abrigo.
Teve muito surf nesse outro banco, que por acaso funciona muito bem em swell de Sudeste, uma das direções que está suja. Então neste local, por estar encostado em estruturas e pedra, há um acúmulo de lixo.
Lembro-me que nesta sessão havia manchas grossas de óleo... e esse óleo ficou famoso, um turista indesejado que vagueia onde quer que a correnteza o leve.
Como em posição geográfica muitos desses píeres foram construídos nas esquinas do Mapa, Exemplo, Barra Nova, Estaleiro Jurong, Jacaraipe, Carapebus/Camburi, o impacto com águas poluidoras é ainda maior e demora mais para a limpeza.
Segundo o Ibama (Instituto Brasileiro do Meio Ambiente e dos Recursos Naturais Renováveis), o petróleo chegou a 321 localidades, em cerca de 10 estados.
E ainda não sabe se o vazamento foi acidental ou deliberado... As investigações apontam que a origem do vazamento de óleo vem de 1 navio grego, de nome Bouboulina, que passou por território brasileiro.
O óleo em questão foi produzido na Venezuela, segundo as investigações.

Problema número 2: Alto nível de chuva, crise hídrica.
No Brasil, temos muitos rios, lagos, águas subterrâneas que estão interligados, então todos são impactados de alguma forma por uma mutação.

O que acontece como fenômeno da natureza é o seguinte, quando muitos rios do Nordeste estão cheios, vindos de fortes chuvas, alinhados com ondulações do Leste, vende o quadrante Norte, crise hídrica em algumas nascentes e depósitos de minério, e poluentes e rios , como em barragens.
Todo esse lixo poluente concentrado acaba aqui, tanto pelo Rio Doce quanto pelo litoral. E aqui ficam, devido às estações de concentração acima referidas (Problema 1) até que venha uma ondulação de Sul, e correntes mais limpas. É complicado.
Problema número 3: Crime qualificado de poluição.
Momento em que 40 milhões de metros cúbicos de resíduos de lama tóxica chegam ao Mar, através do berçário da vida, o Rio Doce.
Tentativas frustradas de devastação total da Fauna e Flora para a execução de projetos milionários, ataques ambientais, Lama Tóxica com Chumbo, Zinco, Arsênico, Césio, Cobre, Magnésio, Infecções Intestinais, Visitas Hospitalares. etc., além de outros materiais oleosos que estão dispersos no mar e mal tem tempo de coleta para análise, estudo e laudo, triste. Elas caracterizam um pouco da minha jornada como Surfista no Espírito Santo.
E por esses e outros motivos, hoje sou um cara que sempre que possível tento conscientizar sobre a importância de fazermos o nosso papel no meio ambiente, sempre que estou na natureza presto serviços de limpeza, com foco nos microplásticos, também faço isso Trabalho de conscientização nas artes gráficas que realizo na Airdrop Culture, juntamente com a produção Slow Fashion, além de abraçar a iniciativa contra o plástico com meus amigos @preciousplastes e @surflimpo

Estou fazendo o que está ao meu alcance.. mas tento fazer todos os dias e estar próximo de pessoas que vibram na mesma frequência.
Esta foi a primeira vez que vi o mar de Regência coberto de lama.
Esse foi o primeiro tubo metálico que peguei em minha vida, 15 minutos depois da foto anterior.
