Aloha Surflimpo fam! What's up?
We are bringing here a frotnightly summary of our weekly SurfHive and Surflimpo Communities meeting. If you haven't read any of our last recaps, check it out here.
Our meetings are being held weekly, and are more of a "community meeting". We are bringing news, partner projects to present themselves, discussing projects and leaving space for questions and suggestions.
As not everyone can participate, we will publish a "SurfHive and Surflimpo Communities Meeting Summary" here and on our Discord, so you can stay on top of what's happening.
The SurfHive and Surflimpo Communities Meeting takes place every Wednesday from 2 to 3 pm (Brazilian Standard Time, UTC-03:00) via Google Meet (access here) and is held in PT-BR. Everyone is invited!
The rewards obtained through this post, which will remain on the Surflimpo account, will be used to support the Surflimpo community in its impact actions, such as beach cleaning events and support for socio-environmental projects that take care of our oceans or that use surfing as a tool for inclusion.

1. More content production!
We've been discussing producing more content here at SurfHive and at Hive. We managed to onboard some people recently, like @joaoparmagnani, @jeffersonbrasil, @gabrielsodre, and @conradoreis, and, in addition, some of our members have been making excellent posts and returning to this content production trail like @luizhadad, our friends from @preciousplastes, @bernardonassar and @carlosbellumat. Please look at their blog to see what they've been posting.
We want to leave here a vital reminder that we will never get tired of talking about. @crisciacm is an onboarder at @ocd and has achieved good rewards for the people she has brought to Hive.
And if you want to continue on this path, always remember to:
Once you publish your content, send the Peakd link of your published content to @criscia as soon as you publish. Criscia only has 24 hours to send your content for curation and help you get more rewards for your post.
Placing @crisciacm as a beneficiary of the rewards of your post, as she has all this work to follow up and send your post to curation without receiving anything for it. By doing this, the two help each other, and everyone is happy! Hehe. If you don't know how to do this, look at this doc to find out how to make her the beneficiary of your post.
A "plus" is to put a percentage of the rewards also for @surflimpo and @gnars as a way of repaying for the upvotes that we also received from the curatorship made by @lucasrocha94 through @surfhive. Okay?
2. Updates and news
We have made contact with some projects, event organizations, and surf championships that are to come to try to partner with them.
🔶 Meeting with the IBC (International Bodyboarding Corporation)
@lucasrocha94 was called to work as a commentator on the IBC World Tour, and, in conversation with the CEO of IBC, he spoke about the sponsorship that @gnars has been giving to bodyboard and surf athletes, and he loved it. They talked about bringing web3 initiatives to the IBC and doing a workshop to introduce SurfHive, our projects, and partners such as Gnars and DROP, among others.
In addition, there will be a big surf fair in Morocco in October of this year, with the presence of big surf brands. IBC will be there, and they invited us to think about putting a SurfHive and Gnars stand at this fair. Bodyboarding is a more niche sport, so innovation is significant to them, and producing posts and content here can provide extra income. If it works, it can open more doors!
🔶 Meeting with Rede Vitória de Televisão (ES)
@luizhadad met with Vitória Television Network, and perhaps there will be a budget to carry out the Ecobarreiras (eco-barriers) project in the capital of ES and Vila Velha. We have been strengthening and encouraging content production at SurfHive a lot, but SurfHive is not only about producing surf content but also about sustainability.
🔶 Partnership with TunelCrew
Another partnership we are trying to establish is with the big riders group from Itacoatiara in Niterói - RJ, Tunel Crew. We are in contact with the guys to bring SurfHive to the community as an innovation project.

The Surflimpo Community, one of SurfHive's impact projects, was created to take care of the oceans. We are a community of surfers, sea sports enthusiasts, biologists, students, and nature lovers - we all have some kind of connection to the sea that unites us. We have our own social currency, DROP, which rewards people for cleaning up beaches and other actions. Enter the community and join us!

Estamos trazendo aqui um resumo quinzenal dos nossos encontros semanais das Comunidades Surflimpo e SurfHive. Se não leu nenhum dos nossos últimos resumos, veja aqui.
Nossas reuniões estão sendo feitas semanalmente, e são mais um "encontro da comunidade". Estamos trazendo novidades, projetos parceiros para se apresentarem, discutindo projetos e deixando espaço para dúvidas e sugestões.
Como nem todos podem participar, vamos pubicar aqui e no nosso Discord um "Resumo da Reunião das Comunidades SurfHive e Surflimpo" para que vocês fiquem por dentro do que está acontecendo.
A Reunião das Comunidades SurfHive e Surflimpo acontece toda quarta-feira das 14 às 15h (Horário de Brasília / UTC-03:00) pelo Google Meet (acesse aqui) e são feitas em PT-BR. Todos estão convidados!
As recompensas obtidas através desse post que permanecerão na conta do Surflimpo serão destinadas para apoiar a comunidade Surflimpo em suas ações de impacto, como ações de limpeza de praia e apoio a projetos socioambientais que cuidam dos nossos oceanos ou que usam o surf como ferramenta de inclusão.

1. Mais produção de conteúdo!
A gente tá a um tempo falando sobre produzirmos mais conteúdos aqui na SurfHive e na Hive de um modo geral. Conseguimos fazer onboard de algumas pessoas recentemente, como o @joaoparmagnani, @jeffersonbrasil, @gabrielsodre e @conradoreis e, além disso, alguns de nossos membros tem feito posts muito legais e voltando nessa trilha de produção de conteúdo como o @luizhadad, @preciousplastes, @bernardonassar e @carlosbellumat. Dá uma olhada no blog deles pra ver o que eles têm publicado.
A gente só quer deixar aqui um lembrete bem importante e que a gente nunca vai se cansar de falar. A @crisciacm é onboarder da @ocd e tem conseguido bons resultados de recompensas para as pessoas que ela tem trazido para a Hive.

2. Atualizações e novidades
Temos feito contato com alguns projetos, organizações de eventos e campeonatos de surf que estão por vir para tentar uma parceria com eles.
🔶 Reunião com a IBC (International Bodyboarding Corporation)
@lucasrocha94 foi chamado para trabalhar como comentarista no IBC World Tour e, em conversa com o CEO da IBC, falou sobre o patrocínio que a @gnars tem dado aos atletas de bodyboard e surf e ele se amarrou. Conversaram sobre trazer iniciativas da web3 para a IBC e fazer um workshop para apresentar a SurfHive, os nossos projetos e parceiros, como a Gnars e a DROP, entre outros.
Além disso, vai rolar uma grande feira de surf no Marrocos em outubro desse ano, que vai contar com a presença de grandes marcas do meio. A IBC vai estar lá e convidaram a gente para pensar em colocar um stand da SurfHive e Gnars nesta feira. O bodyboard é um esporte mais nichado, então a inovação é muito importante para eles e a produção de posts e conteúdos aqui pode dar uma renda extra. E se der certo pode abrir mais portas!
🔶 Reunião com a Rede Vitória de Televisão (ES)
@luizhadad teve reunião com a Rede Vitória de Televisão, e talvez role uma verba para fazer o projeto de Ecobarreiras na capital do ES e Vila Velha. Nós temos reforçado e incentivado muito a produção de conteúdo na SurfHive, mas a SurfHive não é só sobre produção de conteúdo de surf, mas também de sustentabilidade.
🔶 Parceria com o TunelCrew
Mais uma parceria que estamos tentando estabelecer é com os bigriders de Itacoatiara em Niterói - RJ, do grupo TunelCrew. Estamos em contato com a galera para tentar levar a SurfHive para a comunidade como projeto de inovação.

Somos uma comunidade de surfistas, praticantes de esportes no mar, biólogos, estudantes, e amantes da natureza - todos nós temos algum tipo de conexão com o mar, que nos une.
