Aloha Surflimpo community! How are you doing?
As agreed, we are bringing here a summary of our weekly Surflimpo Community meetings. If you haven't read our last summary, check it out here.
Our meetings are being held weekly, and are more of a "community meeting". We are bringing news, partner projects to present themselves and leaving space for questions and suggestions.
As not everyone can participate, we will publish a "Surflimpo Community Meeting Summary" here and on our Discord, so you can stay on top of what's happening.
The Surflimpo Community Meeting takes place every Wednesday from 2 to 3 pm (Brazilian Standard Time, UTC-03:00) via Google Meet (access the meeting link here) and is held in PT-BR. Everyone is invited!
Surflimpo Community Meeting Summary (10/26/2022)
At this meeting, we had a general conversation about the three tools we use: SurfHive itself, DROP, and Detrash. And we took the time to answer questions and concerns about these tools. Take a look.

1. SurfHive
🔶 Our community within Hive to publicize our content related to surfing, activities at sea, impact and ocean protection actions, and, of course, Surfimpo's actions and what has been happening in our weekly meetings. We already talked a lot about Hive here in this post, and we also talked about the relationship between Surflimpo and SurfHive here. Please give it a check.
2. DROP
🔶 A social currency that rewards actions such as volunteering in beach clean-ups, sponsoring Surflimpo Community events, leading or engaging in surfing activities, yoga, conversation circles or lectures on Surflimpo action days, and many other activities. You can check which activities can be rewarded on the Surflimpo Community page on the @cambiatus2022 website. And you can also check it out by entering the community through this invitation link and clicking on the “How to win DROP” option. There you will see a list of community goals and, within them, what actions and how much in DROP they reward.
3. DeTrash
🔶 A partnership that went all out to complete what we already do with DROP. DROP rewards you for cleaning the beaches, and DeTrash, through the Recy network, continues this mission by rewarding you in cRECY (a token) for correctly disposing of your garbage (whether it was collected at the beach or home). All you have to do is separate your waste by type of material (it can be plastic, paper, metal, glass, or organic), make a video showing that you are disposing of it correctly (either to a garbage collector, in specific recycle or compost bins, in a company that receives the garbage to be treated, etc.) and submit a form where you will inform the approximate amount of waste you are disposing of. You can learn more about DeTrash here, and you can register, report your discarded waste and earn cRECY here. 4. General questions
When we talked about DeTrash, some questions arose, and we will summarize them here in a few topics:
🔶 About claiming cRECY
When you register to report your waste, you can choose whether you are a waste generator, recycler, or a hodler. For those who are hodlers, there will be no option to report their garbage.
For those who registered as a waste generator (like most people and me), you have two options when submitting the form to report your waste: upload the video showing the waste being discarded and informing the approximate amount of that waste OR send an invoice from the recycler (it will vary depending on where you are disposing of your trash).
DeTrash's form (yes, that's all that is, very simple)
For those who registered as a recycler, you must submit the invoice AND upload the video. In this case, you must show in the video your garbage being weighed, the value on the scale, and speak aloud the amount of waste weighed to make it easier to check.
And that's it. Once your form is submitted, you'll soon earn your cRECY.
🔶 About what to do with your cRECY
Another question that arose was whether we could exchange our tokens for products or discounts somewhere. Well, not yet. For now, you can sell/trade your cRECY for cryptocurrencies and/or fiat money (reais, dollars, euros, etc.). The idea is that these future exchanges for products and discounts can happen. Until then, let's separate our trash, dispose of it correctly and earn cRECY. The planet thanks you 🙂

Como combinado, estamos trazendo aqui um resumo dos nossos encontros semanais da Comunidade Surflimpo. Se não leu o nosso último resumo, veja aqui.
Nossas reuniões estão sendo feitas semanalmente, e são mais um "encontro da comunidade". Estamos trazendo novidades, projetos parceiros para se apresentarem e deixando espaço para dúvidas e sugestões.
Como nem todos podem participar, vamos pubicar aqui e no nosso Discord um "Resumo da Reunião da Comunidade Surflimpo" para que vocês fiquem por dentro do que está acontecendo.
A Reunião da Comunidade Surflimpo acontece toda quarta-feira das 14 às 15h (Horário de Brasília / UTC-03:00) pelo Google Meet (acesse o link da reunião aqui) e são feitas em PT-BR. Todos estão convidados!
Resumo da Reunião da Comunidade Surflimpo (26/10/2022)
Nessa reunião tivemos uma conversa geral sobre as três ferramentas que utilizamos: a DROP, a própria SurfHive, e a Detrash. E tiramos um tempinho para responder dúvidas e questões sobre essas ferramentas. Dá uma olhada.

1. SurfHive
🔶 Nossa comunidade dentro da Hive pra divulgar nossos conteúdos relacionados a Surf, atividades no mar, ações de impacto e de proteção aos oceanos e, é claro, as ações do Surfimpo e o que tem acontecido nas nossas reuniões semanais. Já falamos bastante sobre Hive aqui nesse post e também falamos sobre a relação Surflimpo e SurfHive aqui. Dá o check.
2. DROP
🔶 Moeda social que recompensa ações como ser voluntário em limpezas de praia, patrocinar eventos da Comunidade Surflimpo, liderar ou engajar em atividades de surf, yoga, rodas de conversa ou palestras em dias de ações do Surflimpo, e muitas outras atividades. Você pode conferir quais atividades podem ser recompensadas na página da Comunidade Surflimpo no site da @cambiatus2022. E pode conferir também entrando na comunidade, através desse link de convite e clicando na opção “Como ganhar DROP”. Lá você vai ver uma lista dos objetivos da comunidade e, dentro deles, quais ações e quanto em DROP elas recompensam.
3. DeTrash
🔶 Parceria que entrou com tudo para completar o que já fazemos com a DROP. A DROP te recompensa por limpar as praias, e a DeTrash, através da rede Recy, continuando a missão, te recompensando em cRECY (um token) por você destinar corretamente o seu lixo (tenha ele sido coletado na praia ou em casa). Basta você separar o seu lixo por tipo de material (pode ser plástico, papel, metal, vidro ou orgânico), fazer um vídeo mostrando que você está destinando ele corretamente (seja para um catador, em lixeiras de coleta seletiva, em alguma empresa que receba o lixo para ser tratado, etc) e submeter um formulário onde você vai informar a quantidade aproximada de lixo que você está descartando. Você pode conhecer mais sobre a DeTrash aqui, e pode se cadastrar, reportar seu lixo descartado e ganhar cRECY aqui. Recomendamos que você acompanhe a DeTrash pelo instagram e entre no Discord da Detrash para ficar ligado nas novidades e tirar dúvidas.
4. Dúvidas gerais
Quando falamos sobre a DeTrash surgiram algumas dúvidas e vamos resumir elas aqui em alguns tópicos:
🔶 Sobre como reivindcar cRECY
Quando você se cadastra para reportar seu lixo, você pode escolher se vocé é gerador de resíduo, reciclador ou hodler. Nos caso de quem é hodler, não existirá a opção de reportar seu lixo.
Para quem se cadastrou como gerador de resíduo (como eu e a maioria das pessoas), você tem duas opções na hora de submeter o formulário para reportar seu lixo: enviar o vídeo mostrando o lixo sendo descartado e informando a quantidade aproximada daquele resíduo OU enviar um invoice ou nota fiscal do reciclador (vai variar dependendo de onde você está descartando o seu lixo).

Já para quem se cadastrou como reciclador, você deve submeter o invoice e o vídeo e, nesse caso, você deve mostrar no vídeo, o seu lixo sendo pesado, o valor na balança e falar em voz alta a quantidade de lixo pesada, para que fique mais fácil de ser conferido.
E pronto, formulário submetido, em breve você vai ganhar seus cRECY.
🔶 Sobre o que fazer com os seus cRECY
Uma outra dúvida que surgiu foi sobre se podemos trocar os nossos tokens por produtos ou descontos em algum lugar. Bom, ainda não. Por enquanto você pode vender os seus cRECY por criptomoedas e/ou dinheiro fiat (reais, dólar, euro, etc). A ideia é que no futuro essas trocas por produtos e descontos possam acontecer. Até lá, bora separar nosso lixo, descartar ele de forma correta e ir ganhando os cRECY. O planeta agradece 🙂
