RE: Updates for 29th of January 2021

I have been working to get longboarding onto Hive, and one of the things that oddly a lot of them want, is old school forums 🤷‍♂️. Reason mostly is to talk about things like gear, or events, and keep it all organized rather than having scroll or search through the feed.
How plausible would it be to create an app or interface like that, and tie it into Hive? or does something like this already exist that I'm just not aware off?

p.s. Better search functions, and filters are something I have been saying we need to improve for a while now. Sure Hive is about the organic curation of the feed, but it still would be nice to be able to search through that easier! Thank you for your work man!

My brother came off his long board a couple of days ago.
He's doing alright, we'll see if he gets back on.

Ouch! Yeah the initial learning period is the most dangerous, but once you get a feel for it, it’s hard to quit!
I always suggest improving balance to avoid injuries. Make a balance board and a slick line, and you’ll both be better in no time!

Tell your brother he’s got healing vibes sent his way, and crypto if he gets back on the board and makes a post on Hive! 😉

It's definitely doable but not something I personally want to do. A full forum experience was already made on Steem years ago before we had community features but I haven't seen those projects revived on hive yet

Thanks for the info. Maybe I’ll do some digging on steemit and see if the users are still active.
I personally don’t like forums, but I’m just trying to attract a certain community that seems to have that in mind. 🤷🏼‍♂️
