It's easy for me to capture Cuban emeralds. This tiny creatures fly around our red flowers all day long, and fight each other for the territories, specially during spring time. Love to see them perch on our clothes lines after the rain.
To update my hummingbird's photo folder, I just need time, my camera equipped with a tele-zoom lens and a chair. The rest is just patience and luck. They are always coming back. Our red flowers are just too juicy for them, and are available all year long. The closest I can shot is about 8 feet, and then, crop digitally the photo for the closeups. The quality of my lens is stunning, here is the sky reflected on the hummingbird's eye.
Capturar zunzunes para mí es fácil. Estas pequeñas aves vuelan por mi patio alrededor de mi arbusto de campanillas rojas todo el día, y se pelean por los territorios, especialmente en primavera. Me encanta verlos posados en las tendederas después de la lluvia.
Para mantener actualizada mi carpeta de fotos a zunzunes, sólo necesito tiempo, mi cámara con el telezoom y una silla. El resto es esperar y que la suerte me acompañe. Ellos siempre volverán. Nuestra flores son muy codiciadas por ellos y florecen todo el año. Lo más cerca que puedo fotografiarlos es cerca de metro y medio, luego corto digitalmente para los acercamientos. La calidad de mi lente es maravillosa, se puede ver el cielo reflejado en el ojo de la avecilla.
