How to catch a thought - monomad - eng/esp

She was absorbed in some idea or desire, or she was just contemplating the last rays of sun that filtered through the old houses on the opposite shore. I watched her from afar. From time to time she turned to see the people walking on the plank floor, she stretched her arms over the railing of the floating walk, moved her hair, and sighed. Meanwhile, I photographed people passing by, but without losing sight of her. I decided that I had to make myself noticed in some way - photographers in Old Havana are not so strange anymore - so I got closer little by little. I guess the sound of the shutter curtains, the continuous beeps of the focus, my heavy steps on the boards, or my screams stretched over time towards my models finally caught their attention. With great concealment and through my visor I was scanning the surroundings, I knew that I could now finish my movement at my final objective... little by little, in a gentle turn, I went from the wall until I ended up on her face, she was still slightly sighing. At that moment I looked over my camera...I needed confirmation before I started immortalizing this girl. She looked at me, I made a photographer's face ready to shoot, and then she smiled. The sequence ended with "Hello! What's your name?"
