The afternoon dies quickly these days, I better hurry to take several hundred photos in the scant 40 minutes I will have of natural light. But I like it this way, better the surfers at dusk so that their determined silhouettes remain in my memory when they face the sea or when they slide down the back of the sea waves. They are much more attractive this way, because even the foam contrasts with the bright sky when it spreads through the air. Then all that remains is to select the best photos, clean the camera body, the lens and the monopod. Leave everything ready in case there are waves again tomorrow, to repeat the routine.
Dia invernal con nubes rápidas en el cielo que van desde tierra firme hacia el mar, hacia el norte. Definitivamentre será una buena tarde para olas y surferos. Pero me gusta así, mejor los surferos al atardecer para que sus siluetas decididas queden en mi memoria cuando se van a enfrentar al mar o cuando se deslizan por el lomo de las ondas marinas. Tienen mucho más atractivo así, porque hasta la espuma contrasta con el cielo brillante cuando se esparce por el aire. Después sólo queda seleccionar las mejores fotos, limpiar el cuerpo de la cámara, el lente y el monopie. Dejarlo todo listo por si mañana hay olas otras vez, para repetir la rutina.
