Royal tern - monomad - eng/esp

The birds were my main objective that afternoon I went to the coast. A solitary royal tern was drying its feathers and preening with its back to the last rays of the day's sun. It moved quite a bit, so I was able to take hundreds of photos of it in various positions, looking both ways, flapping its wings and picking at its feathers. A flock of sandpipers passed through the area and altered the monologue that the tern was giving me, and it seems that our session ended when the calm and the distances between species were extremely shortened. I show you some of my best photos of this bird. I hope you like them!

Thanks for the opportunity!
