As every year begins, the first challenge proposed by the 52frames site is a self-portrait. I have been in that community for five full years now, completing each weekly challenge. I had this lighting scheme in mind above a black wall and I put it into practice in the small living room of my house. I did several poses, finally I liked the idea of looking up, as if searching for the light, I took some practice shots while I was polishing some details: other clothes, taking off my watch, getting the cat off me, looking for some place for my hands, etc. I kept the image that serves as the cover of this post. Como cada principio de año, el primer reto de los que propone el sitio 52frames es un autorretrato. Llevo ya cinco años completos en esa comunidad, cumpliendo con cada reto semanal. Tenía en mente este esquema de luz por encima de una pared negra y lo puse en práctica en la pequeña sala de mi casa. Hice varias poses, finalmente me gustó lo de estar mirando para arriba, como buscando la luz, hice algunos disparos de práctica mientras estuve puliendo algunos detalles: otra ropa, quitarme el reloj, quitarme la gata de encima, buscar algún lugar para mis manos, en fin. Me quedé con la imagen que sirve de portada a este post. Feliz 2025!
