They are unknown fishermen who throw themselves into the sea, not into the deep sea with such a weight of cast nets and their sinkers, they throw themselves to the coast up to a little above the waist of Caribbean salt water. They look for small fish to serve as bait, to set sail that same night in search of larger prey.
I have always wanted to throw a cast net, although it requires certain skill to throw it so that it opens evenly and fulfills its objective, but I had also wanted to catch a fisherman throwing one of these nets with the sun in the background, without having to go to Vietnam to achieve something like that. So that afternoon I felt very satisfied, I had a spectacular sunset, with the city and the sun in the background, with wonderful silhouettes at work.

Son pescadores desconocidos que se arrojan al mar, no al mar profundo con semejante peso de las atarrayas y sus plomadas, se arrojan a la costa hasta un poco más arriba de la cintura de agua salada caribeña. Buscan pequeños peces que les sirvan de carnada, para zarpar esa misma noche en busca de presas mayores.
Siempre he querido lanzar una atarraya, aunque requiere de ciertas mañas el lanzarla para que se abra uniformemente y cumpla su objetivo, pero también había querido capturar a algún pescador lanzando una de estas redes con el sol en el fondo, sin tener que ir a Viet-Nam para lograr algo así. Por lo que aquella tarde me sentí muy satisfecho, tuve un atardecer espectacular, con la ciudad y el sol de fondo, con maravillosas siluetas en plena faena.
