If I ever buy a G-Shock is because of the photos you had over the years with this model. I currently don't own any watches, I had a smart watch for a couple of years but was tired of constantly checking the data on it and felt like giving it away so I can get back to training without the damn stats on the watch...
I don't like wearing watches during winter but I'll probably buy one next spring.

I've never had a smartwatch and the concept of it turns me off. To me, and I could be wrong, people become obsessed with them and all the tracking they provide begins to rule ones life. Sleep tracking, heart beat, activity and all that. It all seems rather stupid to me. So, I understand your comments, training without the stats on the watch.
I have some very nice watches and my favourite, because of the meaning of it, (which I rarely wear) is not this one...but this one is worn every day so is like a part of me. I don't wear jewellery, don't see the point, but this watch goes on every day.
