"When an elephant dies, it leaves its tusk; when a tiger dies, it leaves its stripes." I was quoting an Indonesian proverb.
When the rain stops, it always leaves behind raindrops on leaves, and.. mushrooms. Yeah, mushrooms!
It is just Parasola plicatilis, a saprotrophic mushroom with a brittle, incredibly short-lived cap and stem, that at first glance resembles a cocktail umbrella. It grows in grassy areas and occasionally on wet, dry twigs. When the fragile stem was even slightly touched, it broke straight away.
I'll include these photos in the daily #monomad challenge.
