Monomad: Crossing the Territory Line

Again and again...I found another heavy jumping spider. It was like seeing a tank without a nose, the black jumping spider with golden hair crawled carefully on a fallen log. Being careful is an instinct that almost all animals have; this one was no different. It seemed to realize that this was not its territory. It was far from where it should be. But even so, it behaved calmly. It still showed a predator's authority; it had nothing to fear. It still had such guts, which made me admire this little guy.
