Monomad: Grass Crab Spider

Spiders are impressive creatures with a wide variety of species and shapes. Their behavior and characteristics are also unique: some are aggressive, some are sensitive, and some are calm but deadly.

This one represents the latter, the grass crab spider. It exhibits a serene demeanor and remains motionless unless it receives contact. I observed that the spider consistently extends its two long front legs. This spider is an expert at camouflage, always sneaking behind leaves. I caught it in my yard this afternoon.
