Monomad: Hoverfly on a cockscomb flower

Yesterday I saw the cockscomb flower on the side of the road. Apparently, there was something on the flower too. The little guy with big eyes—those eyes almost completely covered his head. Instead of eyes, it looks more like a helmet.

This little guy was a nectar taker, sucking up nectar with his proboscis.

Yeah, there was plenty of nectar on the cock's comb, which is enough to fill him up.

The little guy flew gently and landed on the grass. Mission accomplished!

Today was enough for him; tomorrow he will look for nectar again. Maybe it was time to rest.
