This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.
Here are some macro shots of the Ommatius robber fly with black and white filters. Some images have a background that looks like a wisp of smoke. It's the original without editing because it's actually the effect of the crepuscular ray from the tree gaps. I think the crepuscular ray effect makes Mr. Ommatius look more handsome.
