I'd like to submit some macro images for today's #monomad challenge round.
Orange parachute mushrooms, sometimes known as orange pinwheels (Marasmius bulliardii), grow in clusters on fallen leaves and dry twigs. These images were captured exactly a week ago in the Bukit Rata valley, which is about 3 kilometers from Lhokseumawe.
For me, seeing mushrooms growing in clusters is as wonderful as seeing flowers bloom. Because the rainy season had passed and the dry season had begun in April, I felt it was the last time I would go mushroom hunting.
