As my contribution to the daily #monomad challenge, I'll publish some macro images below.
The horned leafhopper is the common name for this little bug. Instead of fear, I like to refer to it as "shy." Because if it is terrified, it will definitely leave. Rather than fleeing, it shelters among the plant stems. The stem was covered in snow-like scales, yet the small fellow appeared to be struggling to camouflage itself. Look at the tiny face, which is covered with woodcut-style strokes. The face is a little frightening, but it's really awesome.
