Monomad: Spotted Tortoise Beetle's Mating Season

This was the spotted tortoise beetle's mating season, captured with my phone camera. I noticed shrubs growing wildly along the rice field embankments in our area. Local farmers leave the wild vegetation to grow and may clear it when the rice planting season arrives. Many different insects lived and bred in the dense weeds.

As you can see, I found some spotted tortoise beetles (Aspidimorpha miliaris) mating. They were enjoying their time to reproduce. The old generation could die at any time, and newborns emerged to replace them.
