As my contribution to the daily #monomad challenge, I'll publish some macro images below.
I recently captured a paper wasp on the grass. It was busy nibbling the grass flower panicles with its jaws, so I kept an eye on it.
There were so many panicles there with sweet and tasty nectar. Nature must have been generous enough to give it a plentiful supply of free feed.
When I came too close to the wasp, it didn't even notice me. Because of the delicious nectar, I believe the pollinator was unconcerned by the presence of a monster nearby.
The grass waved in the breeze, and the paper wasp remained calm there since life must go on as it should.

Very cool! And super impressed you did this with your phone. I didn't think you could capture such images with a cellphone.
Thank you so much. At the moment, I can only capture the subject with the camera phone. Well, while saving cash to acquire a mirrorless camera, to be precise. 😁

One of the best macro shots I've seen. The angles also seem well measured.
