I found this little guy for the umpteenth time. The horned treehopper (Leptocentrus taurus) is an interesting insect with a strange characteristic. It has three horns like a dwarf's hat—a long horn in the middle curves to its back. At first, I thought it was a sharp thorn and would hurt if pricked. I tried to touch that, but it turned out to be soft.
It walked on the scorpion's tail flower stalk like a circus performer but occasionally stopped as if to let me capture it with my phone. This time, it walked without its bodyguards (ants). I suspect it gave its bodyguards a holiday along with the new year.
Lungke banteng nek Wati 🤣
