Monomad: The Pretty Things - Velvet Parachute

Here I post some macro shots for the daily #monomad challenge hosted by @monochromes.

A lot of mushrooms began to bloom again during the wet season. For those of us who love mushrooms, seeing so many in bloom is a pleasure. Yeah, the analogy is comparable to how frogs welcome the rain after wishing for it.

This velvet parachute mushroom was found recently in a nearby wood. The mushroom's scientific name is Marasmius elegans .
