This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge
Earlier at around 10.20 WIB I was in the bush area on the edge of the river, precisely in Serbajaman Tunong Village, Tanah Luas, Aceh, Indonesia to hunt several types of interesting insects. Sometimes I go with a friend but today I hunted alone, even though the location was quiet, a beetle from the Curculionidae family was able to entertain me with its unique behavior.
How could it not be, when I approached my favorite macro lens towards it the beetle actually pretended to be dead and fell to the ground. I smiled and shook my head because this beetle's tricks were old to me, so I picked up the beetle which had fallen to the ground with its body stiff and then placed it on the leaf of a wild plant.
While waiting for the beetle to pretend to regain consciousness, I directed the focus of my macro lens towards it, and I have uploaded some of the shots that I managed to capture below.

How amazing is macro photography that allows us to see those details that go so unnoticed from our everyday point of view. Excellent photographs, I loved seeing those details in the beetle!
