Monomad - Two mushrooms with beautiful gills

This is my entry for the daily #monomad challenge

Earlier around 15.00 WIB I went to a friend's garden which is located in the village of Cot Tufah, Paya Bakong, Aceh, Indonesia. My friend has a garden that is quite large and contains several durian, areca nut, cacao plants and I also saw mangosteen plants starting to flower there.

My goal of going there is of course to hunt for some macro objects, that could be insects & mushrooms. But after I arrived at the location which is about 30 minutes from where I live, the weather slowly started to get cloudy. This situation certainly made me have to quickly hunt for macro objects like I planned, luckily I managed to find several types of mushrooms there before I finished walking around the garden area and it slowly started to drizzle.

Even though I didn't get any insect objects, my heart was a little comforted by the two types of mushrooms that I will share in this post. There is a fungus Neofavolus alveolaris which has beautiful gills which I managed to capture a few photos of. I found this mushroom from the Polyporaceae family growing on rotten branches of cocoa plants.

Although I also get several other types of mushrooms, I am more interested in combining two mushrooms that have beautiful gills in today's post. Besides the Neofavolus alveolaris mushroom above, there is also the Crepidotus mushroom genus from the Crepidotaceae family which also has beautiful gills. Here are some photos:
