First and foremost,
All ladies out there endlessly support from my side, not just today than the whole f** year, respect is for free and that is all we need.*
I won't say no to some chocolate either.
These two magnificent women, flexible in body and mind are grateful for my first inversion when it comes to yoga. Unfortunately, from last year I totally dropped out of the routine after a broken elbow and with some excuse back and forth I still haven’t returned to regular practice.
I miss it, I admit it.
Yoga is not competitive, yoga is something you really do for yourself, with yourself.
Aerial yoga is not really yoga, except that it possesses similar asanas that are practiced. No rituals, no mantras.
But what aerial yoga offers is liberation from fear and restoring self-confidence. However, the silk cloth is set at least a meter away from the ground, and yes that requires a lot of trust in your body when you are up-side-down.
However I prefer more KY, there are rituals, mantras, kriya, breathing, and eyes must be closed almost all the time.
It really helps me to detach from reality for a certain amount of time, In the last months I've been involved too much and I feel I need some detaching lately, but life has other plans and days still last only 24hrs (that's why I sleep in two shifts).
However, everything that moves your body actually balances your inner side, but there is some magic in synchronicity.
These two are magic, and the gap between them is almost 20 years, you wouldn't say so, right?
Neither would I.
Images were made in order to exchange our skills, mine as a photographer, they're as professional Aerial yogis. They got a set of shoots, I got the whole month to stretch myself endlessly.
It was dizzy, it was scary, it was different and challenging - but, unforgettable.
Did anyone tried it so far?
*Thank you @monochromes, this is my entry for the #monomad challenge, and thank you all for your time and interest in what I do. *🙌
This IS magic lol
Great skills all of three of you, someone photographing and others balancing :))
no, I didn't, and according to my today's post, I am running out of time 😆
I wouldn't dare to take a shots of myself hanging out there, already laughing at my face expressions, but they are something else.
It seems hard, but your fingers are already flexy enough - no excuses please! :P
hahahh
It reminds me, last year someone was doing a push-up challenge, so it was a joke later that we should de a finger push up challenge here in hive, all musicians 🤣
Hahhaha that sounds like a joke that should come true. :D
I am scared for my fingers lol
