Today's #monomad challenge post is about the Dilhan Sesen concert in Istanbul and the photos I took on the way.
She is a musician who makes indie/jazz songs, and in this concert she sang her songs with a guitarist featuring her. Most of the songs in her setlist created a strange sense of peace with the soft effect of her vocals. About seventy people came to the concert on the roof of a pub in Kadıköy. The other photos are the ones I took on the way to the concert. On our way to Kadıköy by ferry, we pass by Heyebeliada. There is a small ferry right in front of me. The building at the top of the hill is the Heybeliada Seminary. Heybeliada was a Greek settlement in Istanbul and this seminary has been closed since 1972.
On my way to the concert venue after getting off at the pier, a cute and spoiled cat crosses my path and asks for food. I took my camera out of my bag for this furry cat who likes to be petted :) Kadıköy is a district famous for its cats.
I used Sony A7SIII camera with Sony 50mm f/1.8 and Samyang 24mm f/2.8 and Sony1 00mm-400mm lenses and edited the photos in Adobe Lightroom.
