Hello Everyone.
Have you ever been to the beach? Beaches do not only function as tourist attractions. However, beaches have a positive impact on other ecosystems that depend on the sea. Children usually like the beach because they can play with the sand or just play wet with the sea water. but the beach is also a place where living beings live that can adapt to the waves of the sea. Yesterday afternoon I visited the beach and found ghost crabs there. The crab is small but can run very fast.
Ghost crab usually digs a hole in the sand to reside. Crabs sometimes act silly even though their legs are very small, but these animals can move faster and easier in their habitat. so don't try to catch it because the crab will run and hide in the hole that has been dug. Have you ever seen a small crab that runs very fast? that's the ghost crab.
Even though this crab lives under the sand, it can live in sea water. The holes dug in the sand only work in summer and when winter the crabs return to the sea. At that time, I was able to film the moment when the crab came out of the sand hole and it seemed that the little animal was looking for bait around the sand and water scum.
Previously I did not think that there were ghost crabs on the beach because their color was semi-transparent and similar to that of the sand of the beach. But while I was walking on the beach I was surprised by the presence of this small animal. The crab knows very well how to camouflage itself with the sand because its color is very similar to that of the sand. Once I do not move and wait for another crab to approach me, I can take a photo with a little slow movement. And those are some of my shots.
