Hello Everyone.
In our place, this bird is called Kuntul Kecil or by its Latin name, namely Little egret. This bird has long legs and its feathers are mostly white. The habitat of this bird is in swampy areas because this bird is a predator of frogs, insects or other types of animals living in water. Even though this egret is not a wild animal, its capture is very difficult because it is capable of flying further and is very fast.
Little egrets live in groups and make their nests in the trees around the swamp because these animals like wetlands and large areas of trees. The bird can stay silent for a long time and wait for small fish to approach, so the egret can prey on the small fish with its very fast movements and long beak.
Yesterday afternoon I had the opportunity to photograph these birds in the marsh. Sometimes the bird flies by opening its wings wide and here I need to be able to control the speed of the flying bird with the shutter speed of my camera. I had to set the shutter speed to 1600 seconds and the ISO to around 200.
Below are some photos I managed to take, I hope you all like them.
