It's A Wild Ride

Brrr-Brrr Sound

A whirring sound in front of my car for a few days already bothered me. I popped the hood, hubs opened it (I really can't get it right - opening the hood. LOL). There! That sound from the radiator's fan. It's not normal.

I called the mechanic my friend recommended. I was supposed to bring my car to him earlier this month to get my side mirror changed, but held it for some time since I got the registration renewal without it.

Anyway, this thing happening at my radiator, I felt it shouldn't wait.

The mechanic said the motor of the fan was broken and needed to be replaced.

That motor on the fan just got replaced.

He asked me to wait inside his small office inside the workshop. It was fortunate that the weather had gotten better over the last couple of weeks.

I watched the mechanics do their thing from there. I would have wanted to walk around and watch them, but I did not want that big car crash on me. LOL.

An awkward pose there!

Parts and Exposed

While waiting inside the small office, I was surrounded by typical stuff you'd find at a garage --- bolts, spare parts, spark plugs, and whatnots.

Finally, the mechanic came to me to say that it was done.

My side mirror, which I decided to also get replaced, he said was done.

But this got me -- my side mirror was bare and apparently I had to drive back home with it as they painted the cover.

Bare.

It looked weird, but worked. It's not like there were parts that got blown by the wind on the freeway. LOL. I had to cover it with a rag when I parked it overnight. I brought the car back the following day and got the cover on.
